I love the concept and marketing. There is such a need for this product but for $63.00 a pair I expected much better quality. I wore them for the first time today and was disappointed/sad. The shorts ride up on the bike, the lace isn't substantial enough to stay flat and the seams/lace are a little itchy. In addition, the stitching isn't as stretchy as the fabric so the stitching popped just pulling them on at the waist and leg openings. The style and fit are cute but these are not built to stand up to an active lifestyle. I regret that I'll be sending the other two back. If the construction and material improves, I'd love to try them again.
*Bikie Girl responds: Thank you, Diana, for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear you are disappointed, and have issued a refund for your returned items. We are now including a note with our bloomers and pettipants to let customers know that the popping sound heard the first few times the shorts are put on is from release of a basting stictch that is sewn in before the high-quality double-needle stitching is applied to secure the waistband. For those considering the pettipants, note that the fit works best for those with short and/or slender thighs. You may prefer the longer inseam of the bloomers if you have a longer or fuller thigh. Feel free to contact me if you would like assistance choosing the best fit for your figure. -Karen
